Diadynamic therapy (DDT) – therapeutic effect on the body in two constant-frequency pulse currents supplied separately or in continuous alternation. The procedure is performed with the patient supine and sitting less. Indications for use

Contraindications

In fractures of the tubular bones and ribs, even when immobilization of the fracture, the use of DDT is undesirable because it can cause the displacement of bone fragments, fat embolism or bleeding.
