UHF therapy (UHF-therapy)

UHF-therapy is a therapeutic technique based on the use of electromagnetic waves UHF. The procedure is performed with the patient lying or sitting. The duration of exposure to microwaves is from 4 to 15 min for a certain part of the body. The total duration of the procedure does not exceed 30-35 min. treatment 3-16 procedures, daily or every other day. Therapy has a positive effect on the circulatory system and increases the overall activity of the organism.

Indications for use

The procedure is effective in the treatment of subacute and chronic inflammatory diseases; cardiovascular diseases; injuries and diseases of joints and spine; acute, subacute and chronic inflammation of the paranasal sinuses, the middle ear, tonsils and oral cavity, diseases of the teeth; diseases of the nervous system; inflammatory diseases of the skin and its appendages; hematoma; ulcers stomach and duodenal ulcers, nonhealing wounds.

Contraindications

Therapy is contraindicated in acute inflammatory purulent processes; pregnancy; swelling of tissues and the presence of foreign bodies in the affected area; pain at rest, paroxysmal cardiac arrhythmias; epilepsy, peptic ulcer disease with a complicated course, bleeding.
